  • Hook:  Mustad 3665A, #8-6
  • Thread 6/0 black
  • Tail:  white marabou
  • Body:  white Angora goat dubbing
  • Collar:  black saddle hackle
  • Wing:  white marabou, peacock herl tips, Flashabou along sides
  • Head: black Hard Head
The prime appeal of this streamer pattern is the illusion of bulk, without added weight.  Large predators will rush quite a ways to engulf the meaty prey.  The combination of marabou wing and coarse hair body make it good for both stillwaters and large rivers.  Large trout, smallmouth, largemouth, and pike are among the big fish willing to take this fly on.
